What is Girl Talk?


Girl Talk is a peer to peer mentoring program that pairs middle school girls with high school mentors. Meetings are held before or after school in which topics that middle school girls face daily are discussed. Girl Talk's FREE curriculum provides more than 100 lessons that high school "Girl Talk Leaders" are able to download online once they are a registered Chapter. Girl Talk Leaders develop leadership skills that they will carry with them throughout life. Girl Talk Chapters help young teenage girls build self-esteem, develop leadership skills and recognize the value of community service.

Why a Girl Talk Blog?:


Currently, Girl Talk has a blog on our "Leader Login" site that is exclusively for Girl Talk Leaders & Advisors. We want to post resources and information for middle school girls, high school girls, their parents or caretakers and supporters of Girl Talk.This is a way for us to share resources, good news from Girl Talk and useful information for anyone who is interested, not just our Leaders & Advisors! We are so excited to share with our readers and look forward to getting feedback.


What will we blog about?


All things Girl Talk! We will post pictures, good news from Girl Talk Headquarters, relevant information for middle school girls, high school girls, counselors, parents/caretakers and those of you who support Girl Talk and other girl powered organizations.
